Where are you based? Do you work in other locations?
I am based in Madeira Island, but i also work in mainland Portugal, having already photographed weddings in Lisbon, Sintra, Aveiro, Braga, Algarve, Porto Santo Island and so on. I also take a couple of weddings a year outside Portugal, having already photographed weddings in France, Italy and Spain over the last couple of years.
What about travel expenses?
In weddings in Portugal there are no charges, regardless of the region as long as the booking is made at least 6 months pior to the date of the wedding. In weddings outside Portugal, since I usually take my family to have some vacation during that week, as long as the booking occurs at least 6 months before the wedding, I will only charge my flight from Lisbon.
What kind of services do you offer?
1 hour photo sessions, 3h photo sessions/tours, 3h elopement photo coverage, half day wedding photo coverage and full day wedding photo coverage.
What is covered in a full day wedding coverage?
Includes preparation, ceremony, cocktail, portrait session, family photos, dinner, cake cutting and dancing. The client gets total availability for 12 hours to carry out the wedding day photo coverage, which guarantees between 700 to 1000 digital photos made available through a private online gallery;
If I want to hire a 3 photo session tour in Madeira Island, what would be the locations?
There is usually 2 options if you want the 3h photo tour in Madeira Island:
1. Ponta de São Lourenço > Poiso/Ribeiro Frio > Pico do Areeiro
2. Fanal forest > Ribeira da Janela sea front > Seixal beach
At what time would the photo session start?
The ideia is to end at sunset, which will vary depending on the country/location and time of the year. Just track back 3h or 1h depending on the type of photo session.
How long will it take until i get the edited photos?
Regarding weddings, the deadline will variate according to my work load at the time, ranging from 4 to 6 months. Anyway, a minimum of 50 photos will be delivered in the following week so the couple can have a good idea of some of their best photos.
As for the photo sessions with couples, the deadline will also change according to my work load at the time, ranging from 1 to 8 weeks. Anyway, a few photos will also be delivered later on the following day so the couple can have a good idea of some of the best photos.
Can you provide video?
I can hire a videographer for your wedding for a pre designated price, but you won’t be able to choose which one. I can also recommend some videographers I have worked with in the past, that you can contact and hire directly.
How should I make the payments?
All payments should be preferably made through bank transfer, revolut, wire or paypal.
