Mar & Max’s wedding in Miami did not feel like the expected version of the city. Although they live in Miami, their celebration took place in a tropical estate with lush gardens and a quietly cinematic atmosphere — warm, elegant and almost transported from somewhere else. There was something about the setting that reminded me of the Thailand season of The White Lotus: the vegetation, the sense of escape, and the calm of a place removed from the noise of the city.
With Mar’s Brazilian background and Max’s Lithuanian roots, the day naturally brought together different cultures, families and ways of celebrating. But what made it especially distinctive was the setting itself — intimate, exotic and full of atmosphere.
Later in the evening, we moved into Brickell for a few night portraits, adding a completely different layer to the story: city lights, reflections and the urban pulse of Miami after dark.
