MADEIRA ELOPEMENT PHOTOGRAPHER

Madeira is particularly well known as a major elopement destination for couples looking for a more personal, relaxed and centered on the experience itself rather than on a large production.

Within a relatively small area, the island moves from ancient forests and mountains to dramatic cliffs, black-sand beaches and open views over the Atlantic. The light and weather can change just as quickly, giving each location a very different atmosphere throughout the day.

I was born and am based in Madeira, and that local knowledge is especially valuable when planning an elopement, specially when it comes to understanding when a place works best, how to reach it, where there is enough privacy and what alternatives make sense if the conditions change.

My approach is documentary at its core so don’t expect perfectly posed photos, but a more gentle direction whenever it helps. I want the photographs to feel natural and personal, while still making full use of Madeira’s landscape, changing light and particular atmosphere.
